Every solid home starts below grade - with footers that are dug right, reinforced right, and poured right. That's exactly where we are on the Haynes project. The footers are in the ground, and this build now has the structural base it needs to carry everything that comes after it.

Here's what goes into this kind of work before a single truck rolls in. The trenches get dug to the correct depth and width. Then rebar gets placed and elevated off the trench floor using those red chairs you see - that keeps the steel centered inside the concrete where it does its job. Plumbing rough-ins go in at the same time. All of it has to be coordinated and set correctly before the pour happens, because once the concrete is down, there's no going back.

The pour itself is just the payoff. The real work is everything before it. Getting the layout accurate, keeping the rebar positioned, making sure the utility penetrations are in the right spots - that's where mistakes get made if someone isn't paying attention. We take that part seriously on every job.

What you end up with after all that prep is a footer system that's built to last. Clean, level, consistent pours running the full perimeter of the footprint. The framing crew and every trade that follows will have a reliable starting point. That's exactly how it should be - and it's what we aim for on every concrete foundation we pour.
