Exterior Concrete Foundation Work Done Right From the Ground Up

Concrete foundations don't get a lot of attention. Nobody takes photos of them once the walls go up and the house looks like a house. This job involved pouring and finishing multiple exterior concrete slabs for a new construction build. The site had red clay soil - not the most forgiving ground to work with. We made sure the prep work was solid before a single truck rolled in. Proper grading, formwork set square and tight, and utility stubs placed exactly where they need to be. No shortcuts at this stage.

You can see the crew working the fresh concrete by hand - floating and finishing each section with care. That smooth, even surface doesn't happen on its own. It takes guys who know how to read the concrete as it sets and move fast when they need to.
